Each child is offered an assessment to explore & understand their difficulties & circumstances. It is crucial that children are offered the right support at the right time & it is through a thorough assessment that we can be understand what the right support is.
Assessments
We offer an holistic needs assessment with one of our specialist team to understand the child’s strength & difficulties in detail. Assessments specialise in safeguarding, physical health, mental health and wellbeing, harmful sexualised behaviours, SEND and trauma.
Reports & Recommendations
Following our detailed assessment we will complete a formal written report, supporting the understating of the child and/ or family. This can be shared with other services and professional along with recommendations and signposting to other services and support
Therapeutic Interventions & Treatment
Depending on the outcome of the assessment we can offer therapeutic support in the form of counselling, CBT, Family Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy & Narrative Exposure Therapy & Play/ Art Therapy
Assessments- Children & Families

Our Needs Assessment is a comprehensive assessment which takes place over several sessions. The child and family are assessed in consideration to their strengths and difficulties and if required will be signposted for more specialist assessments. The needs assessment will include, presenting difficulties, physical health, mental health, learning, education/work, sleep, appetite, day to day life, social interactions and aspirations.

We offer a range of assessment that specialise in the areas of risk and safeguarding. Risk Assessments may include, fostering placements, schools and collages, and mental health. We can complete AIM 2 Assessments, Parenting Assessments, Graded Profile and CAMHS Risk Assessments and Safety Plans.
